ZFR Help

I've had my ZFR on for about 3 weeks now. and I am having issues with it.

First, I cannot hit targeted boost and it is super laggy. Terminator has me at 27 psi, but in my logs its hitting 22 psi max and that is from 6000 RPM.

I did a boost leak test and found nothing. I have the Medium boost canister and its cranked all the way down.

Are there any other ideas?

I am making a intake boost leak tester today when the parts get home. I was wondering if that might possibly be the problem.

Did you setup the wastegate at all? could be that it's open a bit bypassing the exhaust turbine

It should be louder. Not only is the exhaust turbine larger, but the exhaust housing is larger too letting a lot more sound out now.

to tighten the wastegate you are shortening the rod so that the caniter has to push further to open it. Are you at the end of the rod?

If you have it all the way at the end the wastegate can be open some even at idle...

ok heres what you do to get the new "starting" point put the nuts on opposite sides of the rod. one at the end one by the canister. push the wastegate shut by hand towards the canister. Bring the nut by the canister back untill it touches the wastegate and back it off a turn or 2 towards the canister for a bit of wastegate preload. bring the other nut in and tighten it down and that should help you out!

Do not go all the way in or go much more than 2 or 3 turns you will overboost!!

Also double check your waste gate control soleniod...my zfr came with a funky one...also my connecter was brittle and I was only boosting 23 psi instead of 26
