soooo im looking to throw NOS into the SS/TC what kit should i use and how much of a shot can i run on the car to do the least or no damage to the motor as possible. my freind is tellin me to a 100shot

I would do a 50 shot at first to be safe and see how that goes.

 

have vince re tune you for it if you really wanna run it. and ask him since he is ur tuner.

hopefully you dont blow anything.

 

be careful the 100 shot of nawz might blow the weilds on the intake

i would tell your friend if he is going to pay for the motor then do it. 50-75shot with a window switch is the way to go.

dont go power commander.

isnt the intake cast aluminum? it sure looks like it, i dont think it has welds. i could be wrong.

 

its made out of pure titanium silver alchemical enamel , no welds to bust , NASA uses the same stuff on the space shuttle,

But after that you are going to have to have the "mad scientist" tear apart the motor to replace the piston rings you fried.

turbo didnt come out until 09, in 08 there were no SS package just the sport package

 

Im going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume youre joking

If not you better inform GM, because they sold a lot of cars (including one to me!) that "dont exist"

 

if you bought the car in 08 it is considered an 09. if you bought it in 07 when the 08's were on sale. there were no SS/TC.

if your confused on the year and the car year let me give you an example. i bought my 07 in 06. if i would have waited until 07 to buy my 07 it would have been cheaper because the 08's are considered the new car on the lot.

 

So I guess not only the manufacturer, the dealer, the bank, the DMV, and my insurance company all screwed up when they listed my 2008 chevrolet cobalt ss 2.0 turbo as an 08 model???? hmmm........those fu*kers!

 

i guess they came out with them in late 08 as 08 models. my bad
