if your confused on the year and the car year let me give you an example. i bought my 07 in 06. if i would have waited until 07 to buy my 07 it would have been cheaper because the 08's are considered the new car on the lot.
Thats not true. If you buy a car in LATE 2008, typically September or later, it is considered the next model year (2009). So if you bought your 2006 towards the end of 2006 it would probably be a 2007, unless its a left over. Production years typically begin a little earlier than the actual year, but not as early as our cars came out.

Our cars say right on the window sticker 2008, and they are registered as model year 2008.

Allow me to partially redeem myself. This site is full of guys that want to just slap **** on their cars without doing any real research on their own and want to just get all the easy answers. So 9 out of 10 times, it's ppl that have never dealt with nitrous before and wanna run like a 150 shot on a stock 2.2 and expect to run 8's or something. Of course this is an exageration and no offense to any 2.2 guys. So, in my error, I automatically assumed this was one of those threads and I shouldn't have so I'm sorry about that.
