08 SS/TC Tune

Okay NOOB question I know, so please dont ridicule me haha. But how do I go about getting a tune? I'm new here and to the tuner scene. I live in Southeastern Michigan, and I dont really know anybody that tunes around here. I was trying to search and didnt really find anything. Now would I need to pay a 1000 dollars to get that Hahn PPC, or can someone tune for me, hopefully for a little cheaper? Just to get an idea, how much does a tune usually run?
Thanks in advance for your help guys,
Brian

if you find a local guy who can tune, and knows what they are doing with hptuners, then you can have them do it for less than a grand,

but if not, right now the ppc from hahn is the only other option.

If you can't find anyone local with HPTuners then your only option is the Hahn PPC.

I have heard great thing about Vector doing tunes on the east side. I know several people who have used them for LS vehicles

There are other tuners in the area but I am not sure if any them are very familiar with the LNF. Myself waiting another 6 months and hopefully GM will release the Stage 1 kit.

Yeah, i'm trying to think of other options beside the GM kit, just in case there not around then. I really hope they are, but the way things are looking, 6 months seems like an eternity.

Any other tuners here in Southeastern Michigan?

I live in SE Mich and have HPT Pro and can install a tune for you if you get one
online from a tuner like Lyndon Wester. Then you do not need to send your ecm
to him. Do not know one here in SE Mi that has HPT that does tuning. Sure there are
some. Google Lyndom Wester to find his web site. He has done GM ecms for years
and has independant ways of tuning besides HPT. He alos consults for HPT as he broke the
Bosch ecm first. If you get a group buy, you can find his tune for about $400.

Go to the "Solstice Forum" there are lots of threads on ecm tuning there with other tuners
besides the one I used.
