im kinda curious how this hot rod's guna do in the wintertime
Just get some winter tires and she's a dream to drive. I use Ice-X's and I never had a problem with getting stuck. From a stop it still takes a little control not to spin but cornering, braking and accelerating is all great.

Just before Christmas we had a ton of snow fall over the weekend here and it was about 3/4 the way up my bumper at 5am on Monday morning and I just ripped through it all for about 5-6 blocks in 2nd gear doing about 80km/h with fresh powder just flying up along the car. I'm also surprised at how well the lip and the bumper held up during the winter. No dings at all and there were plenty of times it acted like a snow plow.

Nice find! A downpipe and a Tune should get you some good gains. HPTuners is a good tune and so is Trifecta. Either one you will see some great gains.

thanks everyone!! i am SOOOO damn excited about this car. when i had an LS cobalt 2 door i thought it was a pain in the ass when i had a couple people with me,felt real cramped in my LS so i am just fu**in xtatic about bringin this beautiful car home tomorrow!!

i prolly wont mess with it performance wise until the end or next summer. but who knows,im suppose to be workin alot of overtime this summer so maybe with that extra cash i will do an intake,DP and a tune. but i will wait and see what ahppens.

im going to take the SS/TC to my exhaust guy and get the resinator chopped off and get a high flow muffler put in but that wont be for a few weeks

i agree, they do look pretty siick but i still do like the look of a coupe SS/TC.

my friend has a coupe SS/TC and has a few mods done to it. he still has the stock blow off valve on his car. this will be my first turbo'd car and im still learning it but what would i have to do to put a blow off valve on a ss/TC

I'd also think about keeping the muffler, then saving up for a kit - just swapping the muffler out is not going to do much for power - the only think you may succeed is making the car sound like a ricer.
