'10 w/GMS1 Dyno 262 HP - Look right?

Got the Stage1 installed and put it on the dyno. This run was in 4th gear, not sure if 4th or 3rd was the best option. Anyways max HP was 261.8 does this seem like it's in the correct range?

looks right to me. for just GMS1 and not other bolt ons.

even tho bolt ons dont do a whole lot for GMS1

Sounds about right to me, should do dyno pulls in 3 rd gear btw.

i forget why they do a pull in 3rd gear usually. but yes in the cobalts ive saw dyno'd,they all have been in 3rd gear

3rd is closest to 1:1 ratio.

Looks to me like it is banging off a rev limiter at 6300 like the stock tune, shouldn't it go to 6500 on a stage 1?

GMS1 is supposed to be 280/320 crank so that looks pretty good to me

My car dyno'd 269 whp with just an intake/upper charge pipe. that seems wrong to me but idk.

dyno is just for baseline. some dyno's read higher or lower than others. stock the dyno showed 221whp and 219wtq

If it looks right but it's in 4th gear, wouldn't that cause it to read high? So if it's comparable to a 3rd gear pull, that would mean it's not really putting out what it should. I guess I should go get it done again in third so there's something decent to compare it to. I got the GMS1 in but I'm not really feelin it. So I'm trying to figure out if it's just me or if the car's having a problem.

gear helps but doesn't matter that much... power is power.

both my pulls are in different gears and comparable. 3rd and 4th.

but is the OP really concerned if his dyno graph reads a few HP less because of the gear ratio? it's just a bseline to have an idea.
