100psi in cyl #4!!!!

So i been having problems with the car.. got a cylinder 4 misfire so i checked the plugs a week ago and they looked good but i decided to change them anyways just for the hell of it.. got ac 41108. replaced it the light went away but the car still sounded a little off to me and it also started smoking a bit at idle... didnt thing anything of it till i drove to work and smelled some oil... i started it up and a big puff of smoke comes out. now wen i stop for a while at a stop sign iand take off again i get a good amount of smoke but wen im on the highway i get nothing??

so i let the car cool down wen i get to work and do a compression check and started with #4 and wen i took out the plug the electrode was socked with oil lol i was like WTF but kept goin and did the check.. number 4 was at 100 all the others were at about 150 to 155...

Me and my pops are about to take apart the car this weekend to see wats up.. he thinks it might be a bad valve seal or guide.. i hope its not the rings lol Any thoughts??????

Sitting at 20K with 3 years riding, never had an issue with the motor itself and hope I never will.

My #2 was at 126 and my #4 was at 30. Both had broken ringlands. I mean... #4.. that was obvious. #2 was still functional but just barely. It had a piece broken off and floating between rings.

100 is pretty low man. After my rebuild it was 165-170 on the fresh motor.

I'm not sure if you're kidding or not but in case you aren't I'm gonna go ahead and say the EFR and the aggressive tune he has proooooobably didn't mix too well with the motor.

OP, I just noticed you are running meth. Any chance your meth cut out on you during a WOT pull?

I realy don't know its a possibilty I guess.. but after I raced tha bike a few weeks back I haven't really got on the car, and the car was perfectly fine after the race and for the week after, I started noticing a slight difference in sound overnight basically, then the cylinder 4 misfire happened randomly. I swear if I was beatin on the car wen all this happened ill tell u guys lol but I wast so idk... but I'm waiting for my dad to get some free time later so we can do a leak down test to see wats up here

Sounds like what mine just did. SLIGHTY subie mod. Except mine was piston#2 giving me about 45psi. And it was the ring...or lack thereof

Well, hell, do a wet compression check. Just drop some oil down that cylinder. If the number goes up, bingo--rings. Just my 4.25 pennies.

It can be a great tuning aid, but I didn't know you guys were having so many issues with meth and blowing engines, lol. I know I won't be using it, as this is my DD ('09 SS/TC). You really don't hear of this within the SRT community.

I'm really not sure where this is coming from, but I can assure you that the tune isn't nearly as aggressive as you somehow think. Boost is slowly ramped in to 26psi by 5500rpms so there are no boost/ load spikes at all. Timing is also obviously ramped in and peaks out at 17* up top, and tips in at 11* with no knock in all areas.
