2008 LNF Coolinf Fan Problem
09 LNF Cooling Fan 1(left side) does not come on. Cooling Fan 2(right side) works properly. I have looked at fuses and the relays. All seems to be in order. I’ll be honest I don’t know how to check to see if a relay is bad, but I swapped them around and fan 1 did not come on. I check for power at the plug to the fan, and got 13.7v. I assumed at that point that I identified that the fan was bad. I replaced the fan with and OEM fan, checked to see if it came on, and no. No it did not come on. I still get 13.7v at the connector. I have not jumped the fan to see if it comes on with an out side power source. Hoping to get some input.

Dug into this and found that I have no continuity between the ground for cooling fan 1 and the switched ground relay. Pulled the fuse box and the pin that goes to the ground in the fan is burnt up I’m afraid the circuit board had burned up for that circuit. Looking for a replace fuse block now. Thought I had sourced one locally but they guy keep saying I’ll check. Time to hit Facebook market place.

Sorted out my problem the fuse block seems to have been the cause. I don’t know what caused that pin to get hot and melt itself, but after installing the new fuse block all is working well took a 20 minute drive every time it got over 94 fans kicked on and the highest it got was 201 before going back down to 189. Pretty happy to have this sorted out after 2+ years of dealing with it.
