2009 LNF Wont go into Boost?
2009 LNF Wont go into Boost?
Hey guys I need some help! My 09 LNF Will not go into boost... if im driving and I step on it my boost gauge will be at zero and it wont let me go past about 4k rpm's. My first thought was a boost leak of some kind but I checked the charge pipes and there are no cracks and ive checked the couplers and they are sealed and on tight.
Any ideas of what else it could be? any help is appreciated!
Thanks,

Thanks,
Did you check your MAP sensor on lower CP and did you check your IC for leaks? Also, did you check your upper CP and make sure its still attached to the turbo? Any codes? when mine did this it my upper CP.
The Sensor is connected to the lower CP and I thought it was the intercooler so I put a new Hahn IC on and it still did the same thing. And the upper CP is connected to the turbo. it did throw a code.. I erased it tho umm. I think it said something about the wastegate?
Do you have a vacuum leak? You'll know if your boost gauge needle fluctuates when your driving slowly during vacuum
Maybe your BPV on the left hand side of the turbo is stuck, the spring? Maybe from grime and possible oil pass through intake.

id be willing to bet its the shitty BPV if you have no boost leaks else where. the stock one is garbage and sometimes gets stuck open or closed, i had that happen before but mine went off and on, either 3psi from being stuck open, or 25psi (on a 20psi tune) when it got stock closed. just an idea.
Right above where the intake goes onto the turbo there is a tan casing with three bolts, I believe 10mm. Unbolt them and hold on to it as the spring is compressed within.
From there make sure there's no crap in the spring to inhibit the functionality.
Also, you might want to take off your intake as that back bolt is a ***** to get to.
