2011 buick LHU block handle ???

how much power can a 2011 buick lhu block handle ??? Thinking about switching to that motor i lost a cylinder wall lol.

zzp has LDK shortblocks on their websight that handle 500 hp stock, is that what you are referring to?

Yeah I have the LDK, but I don't think the LHU will lol.

i've already seen 2012' GS LHU stock block dyno at 560hp w/e85/35psi - with cylinder #1 & #3 cracked from top to bottom.

the LHU & LDK blocks alone can handle up to 460-480'ish with a reliable tune..

Past 550+ the block needs to be girdled, these blocks in stock form weren't meant for high boost - over 30+psi, using a girdle system will prevent this from happening..

Was that from detonation though? I was told by a big source that an LDK Generation 3 with wiesecos and rods could handle 700whp.

Specifically why I bought a 3rd generation LAF to run as a 2.1
