Ok, I installed the 3 bar gms1 maps. I haven't re-tuned yet but didn't drive the car. I did start it up in the garage and throttle it a bit after it warmed up. I didnt go crazy or anything just wanted to check some stuff while it was running and also some reads on the new aeroforce gauge. This wont have any negative effects will it? Ive read about people installing the maps and then driving to the dealership. I ordered a ZZP canned tune for now till I can get back to BYT for an update with the new sensors. Thanks again

 

As long as you stay out of boost you shouldn't have any issues. Just drive it gently. You may throw a cel and go into reduced power mode. I wouldn't plan to go a long way like that Or dd until that tune gets slammed on.

 

What slap said. Keep it out of boost. You hit boost and you'll probably go into limp mode and have to reset it.

 

Thanks, thats what i read. The car is not going to be driven anywhere till the new PCM comes. I was just concerned with me revving it up a bit. I watched the boost gauge and made sure it stayed below 0. Thanks for the help
