Route to 450+whp?

Well as my car sits now fully bolted, it makes a appreciable 351/377.
What kind of money all said and done would it take to get this car to run around 450whp reliably?
Obviously some sort of big turbo, new gearing... 4.55? New clutch, 5th injector, retune.. Internals?
What would you guys say a ballpark figure would be?

You're probably looking at about $10K to upgrade engine internals, turbo, fuel system and tranny.
I'm at 479whp and spent at least that, not counting handling/suspension mods.
I disagree that you can't put that power down in a FWD. You just need the right suspension mods and rubber.

Its different with every car. Some guys can run stock internals with 400+hp with no issues. Others blow their **** up with below 350. It has a lot to do with how you drive and your tune. As long as you dont go WOT all the time, then you should be able to last awhile stock. And get a good tuner. You already are Term tuned, so i imagine you will go back to him after you slap on a big turbo. You should be fine.

It's all about the tune as far as the engines go. On a good tune with the pillow of forgiving e47 these blocks are definitely reliable at 400-450 not too many push outside that box without getting into motor mods so it's hard to say what the outer limits are.
But on pump gas no e I wouldn't want much more then 400. If you go bigger turbo to get your goals vs maxing out a mid sized turbo that can also be more forgiving on the engine internals

The easiest route is clutch, some sort of big turbo kit, all your bolt ons, intake cam with bigger fuel lobe and Opel injectors, one awesome tune and if I were you I would do valve springs.
The reliability is how you drive and you tuning. I made 450whp for 40k and the car was wrecked by a semi or it would still be going strong I bet. I did that before we had boost table access and fueling access too. It was very hard to make it happen at that point in time. So it's even easier now and with better parts to aid you

honestly though i wouldnt really worry too much about internal because our weak point is the tranny go with the 4.05 or the 4.45 gears and a good clutch and then valve springs, retainers, and the 7163 and youll be good. now if you go e85 go 6758 and opels
