swapping turbo Drive train to regular cobalt

Hello all. New to the forum.
I have a 2006 cobalt lt automatic car.
I just picked up a wrecked 09 cobalt ss coupe. I am wanting to swap the motor and trans to my coupe or prefer to find a 4 door car.
Anybody here do that before?

yes one person did it. more work than it was worth. better off parting the SS out and buying a kit made for your specific motor setup from ZZP.

Do you understand what it involves?

Don't waste your time.

I understand 100% what it involves.

I have the resources, knowledge and tools to do it properly.

I would swap it.

What the OP should do? I can only say what I would do. I don't know how much knowledge the OP has nor do I know if they're capable of doing it correctly.

I don't think it matters anyhow now that I look at "sleepercobalt12".

A single post on 10/22 and nothing since.

Ask and run, just love that.

But what would be the point.. So then you have a base cobalt with a turbo engine that can't handle like a SS.

The LNF is a good car because it handles amazing and is fast.. I drive my gf's 09 balt and it is a totally different driving car (light steering, sloppy suspension and weak brakes) than my 09 ss.
