Ion is a tad longer than all the other deltas.

The 3 bolt flange one will work just fine.

I emailed them awhile ago, and they made 3 bolt flange ones.

It will be apples to apples comparison of that other site, who isn't a vendor here.

Feel free to PM me and remind me tomorrow. It's going to be a busy day and I tend to get stuck in the shop these days.

Thanks.

So all you have to do is click the drop down box, choose 3 bolt flange, and it WILL bolt up to the SS/TC? What about if I plan on getting a catless 3" DP?

That's what I was thinking too, LOL. That and I am for sure gonna be getting a catless 3" DP, so I want it to connect to that too.

OK, I took at look at the other site and what they are offering for $195.00. We can match the price but can not include clamps. For that price they, and I, are making very little but if you all are going to order it, I would rather take care of yoiu all then to have you go to a non-supporting vendor. You will be building your own system anyways once you choose the muffler and tip so theclamps wont matter, just have the tubing welded at the time of install. Also, we will provide the tubing as a resonator and muffler delete. It will be long enough to install and run as is.

So, if interested, let me know. I can make a thread in the vendors section. I would like to see at least 5 orders to make it worthwhile.

Thanks guys.

x2, but what about the flange for the DP? Dont we need a flange, or can we just order the 3" mandrel bent system and then have a muffler shop weld it on for us?

Dan:

To be clear, you are offering the same thing as the link posted, but with the extra piping where the muffler would go without a tip?

I'm also interested in the muffler and resonator delete exhaust system. But I was also wondering about the flanges and such. I wouldnt mind paying a little extra to have those on there.

Not really. Out of the 4 cars that I put an exhaust system on, I have never used Stainless Steel ever, I always use the aluminized steel and it has never rusted ever and I have never had any problems with it.

Yes, that is correct. The tubing will be bent as a resonator and muffler delete kit. Just tubing and the hangers, which will be left separate to be welded on at the time of install. This will allow the customer to either hang the straight exhaust and weld a tip on, or cut the tubing for any size resonator and muffler of their choice for a custom install and proper clearance.

OK, since there are several requests for the factory 3-bolt flange, we will offer it as an option for $25.00. Possibly less depending on my cost to have them laser cut.

Exiting where? In front of tire or behind?

Aluminized steel is very resilient to rust. It is usually the raw steel welds, and the ends of the tube where raw steel is exposed, that rust. We paint all of our mild steel welds.

Straight pipes are exactly what we are offering; read above posts. And we are designing a 3" down-pipe with high flow converter this coming Friday.

So basically if ClearImageAuto comes out with this 3" system, it's gonna be 3" mandrel bent and will be able to bolt right up to the stock DP and will also be able to bolt on to an aftermarket 3" DP. So basically just a replica of the one on mandrelexhaustsystems.com, except he is a vendor here, will be cheaper and will have a 3 bolt flange if need be.

I think there will be a difference. The one on mandrelexhaustsystems.com to me comes with enough pipe that u prob. won't have to cut much out when u add a muffler. So if u took that system and wanted to throw it in with no muffler, u would prob. be upset to see it end well before the exhaust cutout in the rear fascia. Thats my guess. For clear images exhaust system, i believe it gonna be a complete bolt on system that will be able to just throw on a tip and go.

Either way, I rather have ClearImageAutos's system just because they are a vendor and it will probably be cheaper. The one on mandrelexhaustsystems.com would work, and all you would need would be the 3 bolt flange and for a muffler shop to add on a foot or 2 of 3" piping on the end, it really wouldnt be that difficult. I dont want a muffler, I just want a 3" mandrel bent system that will bolt right on to the stock DP and also work with an aftermarket DP, so therefore I would be all for buying the one from ClearImageAuto.com.

The system we will be installing and dyn testing Friday will have a resonator and muffler. But what I proposed above will not. And yes, the factory 3-bolt flange will be available. We'll have some options for you guys.

"Straight pipe". The entire tubing kit will be a straight pipe. Or are you talking about the down-pipe? If so, yes, our 3" down-pipe will be available without the hi-flow converter.

Thanks again everyone.
