Yes... I have them. They aren't too bad - better quality than what you get off of ebay. Only complaints are that the halos aren't really bright and I can see the what looks to be stress marks on the inside (I think that mine may have a coating on the interior though? It has been a while since I bought them...) Oh and I think I had to wire up the leds - not a big deal though....

I was under the impression that all Gen 3s were made by the same company and thus were all of the same quality...could be wrong tho

LEDs are already in there but on Gen1 and 3 you have to wire them to your parking lights. Gen2 are plug and play. HID's are good but don't expect OEM quality. The beam pattern is pretty uneven and they're still not nearly as bright as an OEM HID equipped car.

so the trade off for projectors is less light for not anoying other drivers, which can be fixed by putting ur lights down some

They're brighter than the stock halogens. It's just that the projector in the lights is garbage. I've seen some that looked good though so maybe you'll get lucky. Just throw 50watts in till they burn the bowls and then retro an OEM projector into them and have the best lights around.
Seems like the Gen4 projectors are a better quality if you like the look of those...similar to the Gen3s you're looking at but without the leds.
