3in side dump :)

Hey brother Balts.. Lol I have been tightening down in school. Senior year (senior project on illegal street racing lol) trying to get a high 3 point to really boost my gpa for MSU.. If not western oh well no complaints ..

Anyways!

My old cobalt 2.2 still rolls around town .. Very proud with what the owner is doing . His supercharged swap is almost done! Lol he has a ZZP 2.5 in catless dp and a custom 2.5in exhaust with borla muffler and resonator ... Sounds like a Lsj with a exhaust but no s/c haha sounds great! Anyways the custom cat back is from a local muffler shop right in little metamora.. 160 bucks... Not bad.. What do you guys think of a 3in dump right in front of the rear right wheel??

Sounds awesome outside the car, but when you driving you just wanna be wearing earplugs it's so annoying. Just do a 3 inch straight pipe out the back. That's what I did and i love it.

Hey Cobe you should leave the Cobalt as is and start saving moneys for MSU unless you get a scholarship that will cover all 4 years. I promise you if you get through college, you won't have the Cobalt by then. Be smart with your life man, don't ruin it with a 3" front exhaust. That **** sounds Gay as AIDS

I've never thought loud = cool. I've driven in a C5 Vette with no mufflers. It sounded badass as hell until we got on the highway and the drove was terrible. I'd never want to take the car past 40 mph. Point is, you'll get sick of an annoying loud exhaust quite quickly. Hell even sometimes I think my stock catback with a catless downpipe is a bit too much sometimes.

Just find one of these used because you're going to waste money and not keep it on for long.

Don't cut ur flange off! It's a simple 3.5" to 3" 3 bolt flange. He can use a 3.5" header collector flange if need be like this.. PYPES PVR13S PYPES Stainless Steel Collector Reducers & Turndowns

I was talking about cutting the flange off of the stock cat back and using it

Yes I know exactly which flange you were talking about. That's why I gave you a link to the correct flange to use so you don't have to hack up ur stock exhaust so you can use it again down the line when you inevitably get sick and tired of the straight pipe side exit.... which you will.. You can buy just the flange itself to have welded on to whatever pipe you plan on using, but something like the link I posted makes things much easier. You also don't need to use stainless to keep the price down. I just posted what I personally would use.

damn expensive... and how does that even work?? Confusing me here.. Do i need both of those when I buy them? Why does it come in pairs? And what did you do to hang the exhaust up...??
