50 trim

SRT guys seem to love slapping 50 trims on their cars and making 450-475 on E. Has anyone tossed one on a LNF yet?

Many upgrade to Bullseye 252, 256, 259, etc which are .49-.53. Others use bigger EFR turbos but I couldn't tell you more than that. Not familiar with them.

Seems like most of the LNF crowd prefers driveability over max hp numbers.

Thats pretty true. I don't know too many that go ***** to the wall either. High 200's, low 300's is pretty much all you see most of the time.

Idk, seems like the S252-256ET are pretty good as far as drivability. I didn't really spool up the S256 until 3100rpm but I still seemed to have decent power below that. You just couldn't really race anyone below that rpm which you wouldn't want to anyways.

Anyone trying to race even with the stock turbo under 3k rpms would have to be semi retarded.

S256 spooling at 3100 and making the power it does is a damn solid turbo, and which is why i plan on picking one up as soon as my car returns from the damage caused by a errant wheel/tire in the road.

yea sounds off .. I hit full boost at 3300 on my car but it's not optimized for spool as I want traction

yea i gotta figure out why. i found some boost leaks but they werent bad enough to cause lag like that, and i can hold 25psi all the way to redline with maybe only 1/2 or 1psi drop by 7k (not a problem at all)

if anything i may have an exhaust leak somewhere, but i dont hear any noises and my afr's are fine. usually a pre turbo exhaust leak makes your afr's all crazy.

so im thinking i just need a retune, otherwise i have no idea why it spools slow. i still get power tho.

im only running like 25psi on a conservative tune right now. tunes all fubarred too, since i found and fixed some boost leaks.

im probably as fast as a full bolt on ss/tc on e85 for now till i get a retune. i plan on cruising around on 25 psi and ill crank it up to 28 for kill.
