Biggest gains were made leaning out, timing made nice gains too, but that .87-.89 lambda is key!

I have had 4 SVT cars... I'm assuming you mean the Cobra? It was the best car I've ever owned, I bought it as a present to myself for college graduation. It was extremely rare being competition orange, and had all the perfect bolt ons. It dyno'd 535/530 on 18psi Stg 4 ported eaton. My best track time in it was 11.4 @ 127mph. I was going to wait another 6 months and throw on the obligatory whipple and have a perfect 10 second car.

I ran 315/35/17 Nitto 555R Drag Radials on it, and coming home from work one day I was on a ramp going onto i-75 here in Tampa in the rain -- I was going about 60mph in very light rain, but went through water running across the ramp (about 2" deep) on a off-camber corner and the car instantly spun around and I went backwards into the guardrail at about 50. Car was completely totaled... a very sad day.

Sorry to hear that. I had an 01 cobra vert that was totalled as well. I was hit by a van full of spick's that didnt speak a word of english. I guess my next question is going to be what made u get rid of the evo and what power levels were you running?

The EVO had 55,000 miles on it, and I could sell it at the time for a slight profit. I did the bilstein/swift handling combo with 255/40/17 Dunlop Direzza's, EBC Yellowstuffs, ACT Clutch, 33psi on Meth and almost 400whp. That was a kickass ride! Most cars I get used, drive them for a year or so and sell the for the same if not more $... its my way to have fun without breaking the bank.

do u miss the evo? My final plans for mine are 500-550 awhp, with a 9-10k redline holding power the entire time.

Its going to be fast as ****, and have a top end like no other.

That sounds pretty sweet. If I were you and looking for that kind of power... if you're looking for track/road course times and not Supra races, get the FP RED. You can easily do upper 400's on pump without meth... and have nearly stock spool. Throw some cams at it, and new valves and you'll have a relative a monster powerband revving over 9k.

60 - 120 update

Got rid of all my KR finally! 60-100 mph down a bit last night to 5.3 from my best of ~4.9 secs with a lot of clutch slip, but 60-120 was 10.01 sec. I'm pleased and this thing pulls like a b!tch at 24 psi boost.
3-4 shift was at 6750 rpm with 37.1 lb/min MAF right before and after the shift, spiked to 38.2 during.

Thanks for all the help Terminator2!!! :

Lil update myself. Wanted to see what I could squeeze out of my car with the stock parts on it after a trip to the dealer. 4.7 seconds. ALL stock parts including the air filter, no pill mod.

May stick with the stock parts til I build the BTF upgraded turbo, then throw the DP and CP back on.

I need to drive my car up north so I can be faster than I am now. Even with the most insane non MBC, non pill tune I have runs 4.9-5.1 seconds from 60-100 mph and that is with the DP, modded airbox, etc on the car. Put your stock tune back in Nick and I bet your car runs faster than mine does with the stock tune in it. Every car has had different times from 60-100 mph stock some as slow as 10.0 seconds (three 150 pound ish people in the car) some as fast as 8.6-8.8 seconds.

Thats not a bad idea Dave, I may try that since I never did get a baseline 60-100 run.

bigger turbo... I have no idea what you are talking about...

I expected better numbers, but once I saw how bad my clutch couldn't hold power anymore I knew it wasn't going to be good. And since they didn't calibrate the dyno well enough I was free spinning at the top. Eh, oh well new clutch will be here after taxes.

Yeah my best 60-100 on the dyno was 3.23 seconds...
