Look at the outlet of the turbo. Excessively large charge piping just dumps air velocity.

I bet you can squeeze a 5" tube no problem.

I think the Injen looks better. No functionality difference between ZZP and Injen except ZZP's has longer routing.

ZZP for better fitment. No complaints and no more boost leaks or the charge pipe popping off.

OP I have stock charge pipes on for 160k. Never once had a boost leak or one pop off. Not sure how so many other's are having problems. They are very expensive for how little gains if any they make on stock turbo. I just see it as a reliability mod for a bigger turbo setup.

Are you tuned? You've put 160k miles on your LNF? You sound cheap. Not everything is about gains...we upgrade the upper charge pipe for reliability and because we don't like shitty plastic in our engine bays.

I have none of those problems, and if you get longer couples with the Injen like ZZP's have that point is moot.

Injen looks better.

Yes tuned GMS1 from 12k-130k and Trifecta from 130k-160k. It's Kilometers I'm from Canada if you could look to the left please it says I'm from Ontario.

If you want I can PM you when I do put on 160k miles on the upper charge pipe. I don't read of them cracking as often as people advocating to replace it asap. I am driving through hot summers and cold winters, not 1-2 season beauties. You naturally hear more bad than the good on forums.

Always list units, ask Lockheed Martin and NASA about not listing units of measure. And just a fyi a lot of ppl view this site from their mobile(like me) and we don't see your location.

Okay will do. I haven't posted from mobile before.

To OP I'd be more worried about plastic end tanks on intercooler than charge piping. They are prone to being hit by accident. But if you have enough $$ buy the whole kit at once and be set.

You'd think a pipe meant for boost would be round, not flat over the. More air flow through a round pipe than a flat one lol

I'm not saying yours will crack, but I'm guessing you don't go to any meets, shows, etc and just use the car as a daily so you don't care how your bay looks.

Have you studied fluid dynamics? Flat can flow just as much as round, not to mention with boost any little differences between a round or flat is out the window since your way into turbulent flow.

This. And the way it is routed makes it so you can actually work on your engine without pulling it off for any little thing.
