Advice on upgrades

OK I was originally gonna go DP and Trifecta selectable/hide tune (over my GM stage tune) only (HHR SS), but now I'm thinking of also adding a

KO4+ turbo upgrade
Crazy Steve Intercooler
and Dejon hot side ICP
*I don't want a CIA, stock HHR SS box with performance filter is proven to flow very good
*Clutch I know I will need one, but it will have to wait till summer.

Now with the Trifecta tune I'm thinking of getting the rev limiter bumped up to 7k (to take advantage of the turbo they say it will flow to 7400 rpms), getting 1st gear limited to 10 psi (for traction) and the overall tune to 24 psi.

Any thought or ideas other than get a bigger turbo. I want to keep the stock looking turbo in case of warranty work.

Do you guys think with the help of Vince at Trifecta I could get close to 350 whp out of this? (350 whp is my goal). I know some people tried these turbo's back in 08/early 09 (with so so results), but we've had some good tuning advancements since then.

Opinions/thoughts appreciated

Dont know much about turbo upgrades but I know when Vince first brought out the infiniboost tune, someone dynoed like 326whp with a k&n filter and muffler delete. Don't know if that helps.

basically with full bolt ons you should be right about there. intercooler, hot and cold side pipes, intake, exhaust(catless dp)....are you talking about doing the btf turbo upgrade? also your most definately going to need a clutch. im waiting on a multi disk from exedy.

I didn't know Vince could raise rev limiters and or limit the boost in first gear

Yeah, he can do quite a bit. He can limit boost in every gear if you want.

350 whp shouldnt much of a problem with the wheel upgrade. Most of us are making about 315-330whp on the stocker. The nice part about the upgrade should be that its not running out of breath past 5k rpm so the torque curve should be nice and flat and not starting to fall after 4500rpm

i just can't justify spending almost $1000 on a compressor wheel upgrade for maybe 30whp. Especially when for a little over $2000 you can get a GT30 turbo upgrade kit from the same company

Quicker spool id assume? Dual scroll? We need more people to start coming up with turbo manifolds. Synapse is the only one that has a tubular manifold for sale I believe. Seems like it would be a waste to mount a bigger turbo to the log mani

The wheel upgrade is more like $850-875 with shipping. So your looking at $1,125-$1,150 more for a GT30 (thats a lot of money). I want stock looking for warranty reasons (said this in my initial post). If I remember what I read about the BTF wheel upgrade, that just bolt on untuned was a 22 whp upgrade. I think it is feasible with a good tune to squeeze out a good 35-50whp, with a nice curve all the way through red line?

As far I could tell Hiltu was the only one who had really tried to run the turbo wheel upgrade and post results? Did I miss some one to look up there posts?

On the slight compressor surge issue, why would the BTF wheel upgrade have the surge problem but these other turbo's don't? Aren't the parts before and after the turbo the same on the cars? Only thing different is the turbo itself? Really would like thoughts on this.
