Cool Ram refers to the Hahn CAI...cold air induction.....I am not speaking of "loud" really ,I am referring to mechanical sounds that are enjoyed by most motorheads....

Because the intake air is coming from behind the front bumper...short ram is pre heated air from under the hood.

I've wondered why they call it "ram" at all. There's no ram-air action taking place at all with these intakes. They should just call them a short intake and cold air intake.

Vararam is supposedly coming up with a ram-air intake. We'll see how that pans out.

Yeah, Hahn's intake is named CoolRam... why?... I have no idea.

Thank you for this obvious statement. who gets a short ram intake anyways? I was referring to a CAI....duhh, I love how that website makes up their own names for intakes, not correct.

I don't know where you got that from my car runs perfectly fine on GMS1 with the intake. Faster turbo spool, spiking more boost, pulling a lot harder.
