good question

AND how the heck can the engine physically rotate 17 degrees if its held solidly in place via the engine mounts? I would think that by twisting or rotating engine, this would cause the engine to mount connections to snap!!?? And what does that mean "the axles are aligned" how are they aligned? Sorry if its common sense to everyone but I would really like to know these things bc these mounts are gonna be one of first mods!! Thank you much
Actually that's.a good question. How does an engine that bolted down via solid motor mounts rotate 17 degrees?? Idk... I know when installing those mounts they suggest loosening pass side MM bolts but that connection is not the type that would allow for any rotational slack. And besides u end up tightening then back down to original position. So yeah I would think that the mount to engine connection would be stressed by this rotation... And how exactly the axles end of being "aligned" idk either. Aligned with what?? What angles we talkin about here, how was this alignment prior to the mount installation? Were they out of alignment then??

The mounts are manufactured so that the engine bolts are in a different position rotating the engine to align the axles straighter to the hubs. Stiffer mounts also. They def reduce wheel hop, I have the OTTP stage 2's.

sorry, but i cant picture what your talking about. "the mounts are manufactured so that the engine bolts are in a different position?" what mounts are manufactured? (the tranny or engine mounts?) "bolts in a different position?" those 3 pass side engine mount bolts i imagine would look the same before and after ottp mount installation?? and how does rotating engine align axles?? just cant see this..... not bein sarcastic either

oh and so thisis known.... the mounts are made by powell raceshop....hes the original maker of the stage 1 and 2 mounts and i feel he deserves the credit for them over ottp. stage 2 mounts are the best out......a 17 degree forward movement helps align the axles putting them in a straighter position and it also helps with weight distribution moving the mass so its centered above the subframe rather then tilted backwards twords your firewall....... your motor mount has room to play with the bushing thats in the top side mount so adding the rotated mounts wll not cause your engine mount to break. so take the advice from everyone that has them and pick up the stage 2 mounts or if your not drying to go past the factory horsepower limits buy thestage one mount.
