Again Missfire....
Ya that's my problem:/ ya it is slowly sounding like a fueling issue... Hope not. Almost everytime I try boost over 7 it does that and it seems to be getting worse. Especially from low rpm.
FWIW, mine would run fine over 4500 rpm into boost if I took it up to that point slow then got into boost. Prob since the cyl pressure wasn't as high. If you can get a leakdown tester, you may be able to narrow it down by hearing the air coming out somewhere. How's the compression test?
doing the compression and leak down test tom morning i got caught up with some things tonight but after a retune its been running very smooth and a slight increase in power. but whether or not it may have been fixed im doing the test just in case haha. i shall have results tomorrow
With a 16" hose on my compression tester rolling it through 4-5 compression strokes I had 165-167 across the board after my inj leak was fixed. #3 was ~10 psi lower with the missing inj seal.
well i did compression test and cylinder 4 showed 168 along with the others so im guessing thats not the issue. o2 sensor looks snug. and if it was the o2 sensor wouldnt i not be able to log the car? so far since the retune no missfires yet but yet again it is damp in houston so i have to wait for it to get dryer until i can test it
Usually before the 02 sensors die, they wander aimlessly or respond very slow. You would see the diff in the logs I think. Perhaps you had a damp or dirty MAF sensor? Anyway, comp is fine so that's a good thing.

well tested it today and ive noticed one thing... it runs fine on boost when your reving up slowly then punch it or are in higher rpm. but if you punch it in 2nd at like 2-2.5k rpm itll missfire... im wondering what this could be still. im going to check the o2 tonight just in case and see if maybe something got into it? ill double check the maf as well to make sure its clean.
I saw it's the plugs only cause I had misfire issues when stock, then tuned (superchipped tune at the time)... I tried a slew of plugs and got my money back everytime it didn't work out. finally went with the 3787's which you can get really cheap at rockauto, but they are listed under our favorite rival mazdaspeed3's as their oem replacements. I checked their gap which is .031~.032... I put them in, and have not had a single misfire since. by the way, I did test those other plugs for awhile cause at first they were all rock solid but after they got "used to the engine" or "broken in" they sucked especially trying to give it gas on the highway it's like the car did not want to budge. NGK's 3787's fixed it and I'm running them now with the tune I got from BYT... only issue I have now is traction and torque steer lol
hmm so these plugs seem to work and lol even though they are the speed3 plugs ill ask one of my friends haha hes got a speed three so maybe that can help a little. sounds like these plugs are really something but why would the ngk iridium ix's just **** out like that? mine look to be in good shape..

wow and it fits perfectly? thats crazy haha. can you still order one step colder on these? cause i currently have the iridium 9's 1 step colder and they again seem fine. but people have been saying these plugs are really worth the price!
if the plugs you have work fine, keep'em until they do misfire cause if they are gapped right and they haven't given you a problem yet, don't worry about it. I was just letting you know what I did and showing you the best price I found on these. 9.87 is better than 12 lol... plus if you google the exact part number you might find cheaper deals.
haha ya i already did that :P well my plugs are looking fine honestly but i guess i can regap them to .32? i have them at .33-.34 cant remember but i wouldnt think it make that big a differece
well if you do regap them and they are iridium's you cant use that coin looking spark plug gap, it can break or just scratch off the coating you have to use those other special ones that look like wires... I can't remember the name but I ordered one when i got my plugs incase they weren't gapped right.
oh so wait you cant use the coin... oops i did i never pushed down on the iridium piece but i did use the coin to measure... i guess i should have done that but it still wouldnt have explained the problem for the car to have been running good and then not.

The misfire never happens at full boost or goes on concurring. So I guess I'll the check the first two out, but I don't hardly feel any misfires when my interceptor indicates one. All 4 are gapped at .32 with the special tools.
