First off, want to say hi and thank you to everyone on this forum. I have been reading it steady for about a mo. now that I own a 09 SS and have been finding it incredibly helpful.

after snooping around in the engine bay, i noticed the air pump fuse is missing. any reason why that may be? it has a drop in K&N... I haven't been under the car yet but appears to have a stock DP... not throwing any CEL's ...

 

I think the air pump (smog pump) is only for cars that were built to pass California emissions testing. Basically, if your car wasn't built to be shipped to California, then it does not have an air pump installed from the factory, hence no air pump fuse. Or maybe that spot was/is used on other Cobalt models that share our model's fuse box but have smog pumps.
