Alignment after wheel bearing replacement??

should i have recieved an alignment after my front wheel bearing replacement ? seems off to me. some say yes, others no

Yes. If you saw how all of it came apart to replace the bearing, you would see why, lol.

DEFINITELY recommended.

when changing any front parts it is a good idea to do an alignment. But a wheel bearing does not directly effect the alignment and you don't HAVE too, it is a good idea though.

the only thing in the way is the axle nut. besides that the three bearing bolts. no allignment needed. but it never hurts

Yeah it doesn't cause alignment to be off itself.

But if an alignment was done while it was worn it could be off a touch now that it's tight.

Well, whenever you take a bolt out, or loosen a bolt on the front end, it throws the alignment off. Think about it. You spec up the alignment with all the bolts in one place. Sure, there shouldn't be slack in the holes, but there is. Its not 100% perfectly tight fitting. Its definitely recommended.

you will never get alignments 100% damn close but there isn't a laser scope you can mount on the steering wheel to get it at perfect center.
