Question Any benefit using the ZZP intake tube vs. AEM intake tube?

I decided that I'm not gonna sell the AEM Intake that is still currently equipped on my Balt. Due to lack of interests. But, I'm interested to see if there is any benefit from switching the ZZP Intake Tube from the AEM Intake for any performance gains.

The AEM intake tube tapers down very small before the last bend. We designed ours to maintain a larger diameter until it has passed the last bend before the turbo. Throughout that bend, our tube is nearly 1/2" larger ID than the AEM tube. (Cobalt & Ion ---> ZZ Performance)

Any thoughts?

With the tube there have been gains of 7-15 hp (not on stock cars), better mpg, and its a little louder, just put the k/n filter with it and it'll flow a little better.

I was talking about putting it on the AEM Revised Intake to see if it will allow more air flow to create more spool.

Like using the SRI then adding the zzp intake tube ? I assume you don't mean swapping back to the whole stock airbox.

I never plan going back to stock airbox. Just running the AEM Intake and swapping out the AEM intake tube with the ZZP intake tube

I am thinking about doing this too.

Let me know how it goes. Are they backward compatiable?

airbox mod + k&n drop-in with the zzp intake tube is one the best setups imo for not messing up fuel trims and making good power
