Anyone NOT having issues with GMS1?

There's a thread with people having GMS1 issues. With all the negativity surrounding that kit, it's made me no longer want a GMS1.

I'm a bit worried about that kit and I want to restore some confidence in the kit.

So I would like to hear from the people that are not having issues with the GMS1 kit. That would be great.

Ive had my GMS1 for a year with no problems and the Trifecta tune for 9 months with no problems. To clarify my GMS1 tune is on when the Trifecta tune is off and vice versa.

I don't have it anymore, but had it for several months with zero issues.

I would like to know also....test driving 09 SS/TC and a lot of people have chimed in with their annoyance over the GMS1. Positive feedback would be awesome!

Had the GMS1 since December, no problems except the sensor being too big on the lower CP, but my dealer fixed that for me by just taking a zip-tie and using it to hold the CP in place so the sensor doesn't get knocked around (that's what causes the problems).

The dealer forgot to plug one of the A/C sensors back in when I got mine installed. Other than that, it's running perfectly for me.

No problems here but I installed the sensors & GMPP base tune myself. Soldered & heat shrunk/taped the wires & looms. Butt splices FTL.

Most the problems you are going to see are with the sensors not being installed correctly, the GMS1 tune itself works perfect.

I've had no problems with mine in almost a year and it went through last winter after being installed. The common issues are technicians rushing the install, not following directions and I suspect the crimps will eventually come loose whereas mine are soldered.

I got it installed last week and no issues yet other than my tires seem to like to spin during WOT in 2nd gear. Never had that issue before the GMS1 install :p

As others said, I think the main issue people are having is the service workers aren't following directions or are rushing the process, therefore, making room for error.

Oh, and my car is starting to feel slow now... NEED MOAR POWAH!

I've had mine installed since March of this year and haven't had a single problem. I'm not sure if they soldered mine or just crimped them, but everything seems to be holding up.

you need to remember a thread asking about people having problems with it all of the other people that aren't having problems they're not gonna post in there because they don't belong if that helps you out at all

Understandable, but with only one (negative) side on the forum, it's hard not to feel like the GMS1 is a POS.

I won't lie, hearing all the issues has made me feel like modding this car GM or aftermarket was not a good idea. So hearing something good is needed.

ive had the stage 1 tune since march and i love it. i mean ya its no where near the trifecta or hp tunes lol but its still pretty sweet for keeping warranty. once my 3 year bumper to bumper is up im getting the trifecta tune. I have had zero issues with it. look at my sig for what cars ive beaten. with just the stage 1 tune. no intake, no exhaust, nothing other then stage 1
