Anyone in Ny tri state area have a good dealer to install GM turbo upgrade stg 1.

I am sorry to bother you folks, but I have a hhr SS and I need the turbo upgrade installed and all the dealers I come in contact with want to rip me off. 3 or 4 hours labor or more. One guy told me are u prepared to leave the car here for2 days. I need help. Any input you can give me would be appreciated. I know there are more cobalt SS's around than hhr's so I am looking for any one in the tristate area who had a positive experience with a dealer install. I am using the crate engine depot kit w a wire harness. No splicing involved. Just plug and play. According to Tom at CED it should take 30min to 1 hour tops. I don't care about paying 2 hours just not 3 or better.

Thanks in advance for all your help

Adam

^^ I had mine done at Gengras Chevrolet in Hartford, CT back in '09. I've never really had any problems since. It's a hike, but it's better than leaving your car somewhere for 2 days. There's also one in uptate NY (Newburgh IIRC?) some guys have had theirs done there as well.

We can flash the GMS1 tune and install the sensors properly for you. Im not sure if you buy the parts and install them yourself will allow you to have the normal GMS1 warranty. If you don't care about that, we can set you up a LOT cheaper. LMK!
