Anyone running a AN20NHT motor?
If anyone has blown a motor and bought a new one with block stamp AN20NHT and has all the recent upgrades like external vacuum pump off the end of the exhaust camshaft; did you replace the ecu with a new regal turbo ecu or did you run the older Bosch ecu?
got a AN20NHT and every connector is the same but the internals have minor updates performed to them and id like to know if anyone has the Bosch ecu running it. I really dont want to splice this regal sidi ecu in.

PM ZZP- I Emailed Matt when I was trying to figure out what the heck gm had put in to replace my engine after cracked block issue. My car was the lhu gen 3 block with LNF hybrid also as all replacement engines are after about 9/2011. Any ways ZZP sells that exact engine and have a option to drop it in a buick regal or an LNF for an additional 90 dollars so I am sure they know what needs to be done and maybe will have the parts you need to use in you're Balt hope this helps.
ZZP also staes the LDK can handle 500 hp so be happy!!!
Here are the Links to the AN20NHT at zzp

No mine is just the block and a few other things it does not have the vacuum pump and they put a 5 qt oil pan on it not the 6.5 qt . There are quite a few of these out there now. I would rather have the ldk version but just having the stronger block is good. What I was saying is zzp has a option to put it in an lnf car or a regal and whatever they do to put it in a lnf costs an extra 90 dollars so must be something they do or remove or sensors or something anyway. I also bet they could answer you're questions about ecu info.
Here are a cpl posts to read about the differences.

Seems as i have a hybrid with the 5qt oil pan. 5 qts comed right up to the last line on the dipstick right before the full mark. Not sure if another 1.5qts would fit or not.
The valve cover is taller in front than the rear. So that is my main indication. Im gonna try and verify the serial # on the block to be 100% certain

No the replacement GM engine has 5 qt it is a gen 3 block franken lnf. If you're engine has been put in after about 10/2011 it is most likely the gen 3 block one tell tale is the front valve cover is about almost an inch higher than the rear. Where the lnf is equal height. Also the metal on the valve covers looks real different like a swirled metal look to it.
