Advance apology, I know ive seen this covered before, my search bar doesnt seem to be working properly tonight. On an LNF, where is the best place to put the spray nozzle? Im getting ready to see if anyone has a BYT TB spacer with the built in port they are looking to sell, but I wanted to confirm thats the best place. Thank you.

I think people put them in the neck of the cold side pipe just before the throttle body.

i have lower charge pipe with maf relocate should it be further down or closer to the throttle body.

I would put it so that it does not spray the MAF. That would be BAD.

You aren't going to be able to spray with the MAF relocate. Even if you spray after the MAF, it'll get wet.

Also it's best to have the nozzle about 8" before the TB so the mist can vaporize and suck up the heat before entering the IM. Ditch the MAF relocate.

That make me wonder, if its located in the cold side, or even in a TB spacer, wouldn't it be spraying on the opposite side of the pipe and puddling? Or is the intake stream that strong it becomes a non issue?

Mine is setup 8 inches before the tb its progressive so it starts to kick on at 10psi full at 17psi no puddling issues with mine

How would the maf get wet if its post maf? Wouldnt the charge air be enough to keep the meth upstream of the maf? Especially in a provressive system that is only spraying under boost

I would assume the moment after the throttle plate closes and there is still boost in the pipe, the sprayer still sprays for a short time as well as the fact, most those nozzles drip a bit after spraying. I could totally see how the MAF would get wet from it especially where the MAF is located on those type of setups.
