GMS1, gives performance AND warranty, dunno if I would call trifecta a canned tune.

i would still consider trifecta a custom tune since you gotta log and what not. I would imagine a shipped tune would be like superchips, the GM tune etc...

you don't have to log a trifecta, they have a canned version

well then, you don't have to log HPtuners either, you can DL the tunes that people have uploaded to the repository. but then you also have the option of tweaking it on your own afterwards at no extra cost.

if you get the trifecta, please fine tune it with data logging

vince is a great guy and he will hook you up if your willing to data log the car multiple times.

it took me about 13 to 15 pulls and emails

Without even reading any of it I bet almost everyone (if not everyone) says Trifecta.

trifecta is the closest thing to a mail order custom tune now available.

but if you got a local hp tuner guy, by all means go with him.

I got my GMS1 And I am amazed with it. I cant say more for being happy with the car that hauls ass and I still have my full warranty, But thats if you have a TC i dont know what you have.

Pay a little more now to pay a lot less later if something happens.

It is what i would guess the GMS1 would be. Maybe a little more. But it's nasty with parts on it

i'm thinking about going with the ZZP myself, if I can't find a tuner local or within driving distance... I just want the boost reduction in 1st... I have a spare ECM, so I could put my stocker back in and send the one I now have tuned with the SC tune off with no core charge or anything... can EASILY sell the cortex, it'll work with any GM gasoline engine pretty much

LOL... 290 and 300 maybe at the crank...

Most GMS1 upgrades see about 270-275whp and 280-290wtq ( My buddies HHHRSS made 286 and 289 with the GMS1 and a catback)

Custom tunes make more power. The GM tune rating is crank HP. People are making way more numbers than that with Trifecta and HP tuners and there numbers are whp.
