your 12.7's on street tires.

ok... traction and a slipping clutch are not helping. I will be installing my clutch soon. i also bought a beater truck to drive so I can pick the car apart and make it a very reliable sub 12 sec car. and only drive it when its nice!!!

The wheel up grade will get get you as stated back a page, 330-340 whp... On slicks that's good for maybe 12.4's at 115-116 mph.......

AS for fuel, One of the things I've noticed people forgetting to address is the fuel pump... Anytime you take a car and pump up the hp by 70-90 whp you will need a fuel pump upgrade so you dont get fuel starvation.... a walbro 190 or 255 unit will work just fine and take some of the pressure\work load and maxing out the cycle out of the injectors so the car can run a safe 380-415 whp....... without pushing the Fuel to it's limits.....

We do this on big V8's and small 4 bangers are no different......

That's an impressive tune\hp numbers... Did trifecta come out and tune your car? No way you can get a mail order tune that good, just no way.....

The wheel upgrade from BTF ( the only company offering this) is a great idea but I'm hearing that they're saending people back a regular K04 single scroll, ours is a twin scroll..... Single scroll will cause mucho problems....
FAIL

dude...STFU!! you are by the far the biggest retard ive ever seen post on here...the walbro fuel pumps WILL NOT HELP WITH THE D/I UNTIL THE CAM DRIVEN FUEL PUMP CAN HAVE MORE PRESSURE OR WE GET AN AFTERMARKET PUMP THAT CAN FLOW BETTER! all your gonna do is get more fuel from the tank to the cam driven fuel pump and then its not gonna be able to be sprayed effectively because there isnt enough pressure!! this is my 2nd D/I car ive owned in the past 2 years and they are all the same with the fueling issues, not enough fuel pressure = no more power... you honestly need to stop posting stupid irrelavant **** on here and misinforming everyone...go find a tall building, step to the edge of the roof and jump

Uhmm... just happened??

I'm interested to see how the fuel issue is adressed. What's the problem with running a bigger turbo at higher RPM? Are the injectors maxing out or is it the fuel pump not being able to keep up with the demand needed?

no and yes...they arent exactly "injectors" like the ones you'd think of on a typical fuel injected car..they're sprayed right into the combustion chamber rather than before it in typical fuel injected cars...the problem is there isnt enough fuel pressure to spray more fuel as the rpm's increase...the fuel pump is cam driven so as the rev's get higher, more fuel is supposed to be sprayed...as you add more power the pressure just cant get enough fuel in there to make it run rich enough to not blow up or hit fuel cut thats all...technically the "D/I injectors" arent really even coming close to maxing out their duty cycle like normal injectors would...i had a speed6 and ended up upgrading the cam driven fuel pump to allow more fuel to be sprayed and all they had to do when they tuned it was up the pressure, IIRC my "duty cycle" was only around 60% for those so i had A LOT of room to play once the main fuel pump was changed...i hope HPtuners gets that stuff figured out pretty soon

You can't get on his case that much...at the time he did that...he did, in fact, have the record...it's not his fault the thread stays opened because people don't stop posting dumb crap in it every half hour with stupid information.

Both kind of...we need one of 2 things...a better flowing fuel pump (Possibly similar to the one for the DI motor on the Speed3) or further fuel table control from an engine management software like HPTuners...or both.

Interesting....... so yesterday I emailed HP tuners with some questions and how we would be able to help them out in order to solve current problems. If I wasn't as sea I would have just called them. Anyways, they email me saying they would get back to me in a day or two. I hope to hear from them.

Interesting. I know it is direct injection and tuned your idc's are at like 40something % right? It's still a newer motor and I bet given some time we will see someone on a gt35 or some bigger turbo revving to 7500 and taking names with it. Interesting info guys.

The high pressure pump has no larger replacement currently IIRC. In tank fuel pump does nothing for a DI car as far as a know. So we are stuck for now until we are able to unlock more of the ECMs fueling tables.

Most of the tuners on here are bugging HP Tuners to unlock that portion of the LNF ECM.
