it took a little bit of time for the company i worked with on my speed 6 to release the cam driven fuel pump (protege garage) they were basically doing trial and error before they could get the new pump to flow better than the stocker (something along the lines of drilling out the stocker to flow more fuel and adding some kind of stronger spring in there? dont quote me because it was last year and i dont remember exactly lol) the same holds true for the D/I VW's...they finally had a cam driven fuel pump released after the GTI's and GLI's were already out for almost 2 years...its gonna take sometime and testing for a company to release one of these for our cars...it sucks waiting, but hey, in the long run we'll def be better off...and esp if HPTuners can unlock those tables with the new pump big HP/TQ numbers to follow!

I understand now. Stock turbo runs very well at 21 psi anything higher than that and the shaft speed is to great up top and power really suffers.

It just takes time. And no matter what,we are all pigs feeding at the HPT trough. No matter what delishous turbo you bolt on, surpass around 6500 and it all goes south. It's been said and said again. all graphs have the same shape with this motor.
Until HPT works its' way thru the significantly difficult MED9-4 (our pcm & archetecture) there is a threshold we all cannot surpass.
Unless one of you boy genuses out there disassembles and figures out the codec on youre own we must wait for HPT to do their thing.

Hardware is hardware. If you have an itch for any particular manufacturer's goodies, why wait until the total potential of the PCM is unlocked? you still can make 100+more hp with carefull (read- modest) turbo selection and a bit higher boost level. Jsut stay out of very high R's.
THere will always be some low end tradeoff until compounding becomes more popular with gas engines.

Whenever the proper release comes out with full access, you get to do alittle dance that day. Cause without so much as spinning a single wrench, your going to dial up ANOTHER 100 hp with your HPT module. Your hardware is already aboard.

To other gents comments,
some cars have exbited surge with the Ko4+, others have not. It's a bit odd. the best chance of avoiding it is by getting a high flow DP, a good intecooler and perhaps a CAI. Although testing has shown 44+ lbs/min thru the stock box with a gt30R.

Noone has ever gotten a single scroll back. There is but one turbine that fits this car, it has a bolt pattern all it's own. hell the Turbo itself is is actually called a KD04 and fits on nothing but the LNF. The factory wheels are the 3rd largest trim that fits. (guess what wheel is the first )
