dose gmpp have a exaust out for us?
Yes. I dont know part #'s or anything, but if you head into your local dealer you can go to parts and ask for the GMPP Performance our Touring exhaust. I've heard the touring is a little quieter than the Performance one, but i'm not sure. Every cobalt I've ever seen with GMPP on it has the Performance one.
^^^ X2
GMPP has two exhaust systems: the Performance, and the Touring.
The touring is the more refined, quiet exhaust, and the performance is the more louder exhaust. I'm not sure of the part numbers either, but I am sure that you can find them somewhere on here, or just ask your dealer.

I think he is asking if GMPP has an exhaust for the SS/TC (after all it is posted under the SS/TC Performance Tech) .... In that case they do not. The GMPP exhaust systems will not bolt up to the SS/TC, because the SS/TC has a 3 bolt connection flange vs. the 2 bolt connection flange on the GMPP exhaust. Also, the GMPP exhaust systems are only 2.25" and would actually be a downgrade compared to the stock 2.50" exhaust the SS/TC's come with.
ahhh, I had a question about that, thanks for answering it. The pipe size is too small for us T/Cs.
"do we really have a 2.5" exhaust piping?"
Are both the pipes 2.25" inches, cause how did they make one louder than the other? resonator delete?

Both GMPP exhuasts are 2.25". The touring is quiter, due to slight diff. in the resonator and muffler. Both GMPP exhausts (Performance & Toruing) provide the same gains.
^^^^^ i believe they have the correct flanges as it wasnt available a short time ago, now on accessories it is avialable to fit the 08 and the 09s
so im guessing they made new exhaust with correct flanges but id size is unknown

i don't know if that is for the SS/TC, because the 08 and 09 base/sport models have the 2 bolt flange exhaust I believe .... The SS/TC is 3 bolt. Even if they did change it to fit the turbo models, I wouldn't buy it unless it was 2.50" or larger. 2.25" is too small for the SS/TC.

Well you dont have headers on the ss/tc, but a cat-back in no way shape or form will blow up your car on ya. A cat-back exhaust should not void your warrenty. I say that, because I'm also **** and careful about my warrenty and I have the CTI 3" downpipe on my ss/sc. What are your plans for your car ??
i want to keep my warante but i was planning on a catback exaust and the gmpp stage kit but it dosnt seem like this kit will ever be availabe so for now an exaust ... i just want it to be a fast daily driver
And where does someone from Oklahoma become a hockey-man??? LOL I'm from Toronto and am still trying to be a hockey man and have been since '67. Of course I've been a Cobalt SS man since (sins) '08.
