Hey guys,

Im demodding my balt but as i was taking off the injen chargepipes, i notice the vibramount had like a browish white powder substance on it. It wasnt rust and it was only on the front side of the mount (the gms1 3bar sensor is directly in front of it). Could this mean i have blow by coming from around the sensor? I was kinda shocked when i seen it. This is the only thing i can think of that it could be.

 

do u drive through snow? that has salt in it? could be salt. or just a little corrosion, aluminum doesnt rust but it still gets white a little in salty wetness.

Yeah i drive in snow. But this wasnt salt or rust, it looked like some sort of blow by. It was only on the front of the mount. Im demodding because im trying to sell it. Just bought a house so that is taking priority. Just getting tired of gm junk lol.

 

why not sell it with the mods, u might get more. ya i dont think ill be getting another gm. im tired of their crap as well.

 

No you won't. If he tries to sell it on here maybe, but if he trades it in do a dealer or something they won't give him a penny, I made an extra $1300 off my car by selling 3 or 4 mods, basically everything I wasn't tuned for or was easy to remove/replace with stock parts. Made enough to pay for snow tires, new OEM HID bulbs for the Evo, and half my gaming computer.

 

I actually still have 1 more mod to sell, whenever my tjin trunk gets here (already sold)

 

Yeah, dealerships around here wont give you anymore money for the mods but will take value off te car if you threaten to take them off. Im not trading it in anyhow, just trying to sell it to get rid of a payment.
