There is no blow off valve, it is a recirculating valve that is built into the turbo and vacuum system. Hahn is working on an upgrade for it such as the one that they have for the solstice

I really dont want to get into this again on this forum but a "blow off valve" is the same damn thing as a recirc valve. it serves the same purpose. one is a coined term one is a technical term. go check out the TC general discussion portion of this site and you will find the same discussion in more detail.

A BOV will not make your car faster just so you know in all honesty it may make it slower. Most of them out there are only good for making noise

A blow off valve will not make your turbo car faster.

I can say with personal experience YES. I was coming back from North Carolina and I did a roll on with a sr20 swapped 240. I was in 4th he dropped to 3rd and we stayed even, I started pulling towards the end. If I would have started in 3rd it would have been a different story. I have no idea what would happen from a dig, thats up to you to find out.

Of course it depends on what is done to it. I know this one was swapped, front mount, exhaust and 5 speed thats about it. we were on a highway no time to chat.

I am not saying BOVs are bad I am just saying maybe not good in this situation. Most of them are just made to make noise. I have always vented to the atmosphere but with the setups I was running it was needed. Even then I never went for a loud ass bov I always used Tials just because they just about the best you can get as far as function.
