I think without the bolt ons it will hang right in there check the hp to weight ratio. evo VIII and IX 275hp xxxxlbs cobalt tc 260hp 2900lbs.... and less drag since the cobalt is only front wheel drive. The evo will eat us alive from the line and that is the difference. My last Talon which was basically the same drivetrain cut 1.60 60' all day with drag radials

ur BOV wont make ur car faster all ull be hearing is the wooosh sound a lot louder which is that ur loosing all ur boost and ur turbo has to spool up again and rebuild boost which doesnt make ur car faster.
The BOV Vents between shifts to PRESERVE the spool...
Shifts are kept to an absolute minimum, thus the turbine never gets time to stop spinning.
If it were not for the valve, the back pressure would back spin the turbine due to the closed position of the throttle and the lack of exhaust to drive the turbine.
