If I can give you my opinion, DP get the Hahn (same if you want to get the catback), CAI Injen, CP any brand, but Injen is fine and not expensive. I have them all on one of my SS, the Hahn DP is catted along with a custom tune, and I couldn't be happier. I have my other SS that I bought 2 months ago used, it has custom tune to 24psi with SLP catback and catless DP, a k&n drop in, and it is not even close to the other one, I would say there are at least 20hp difference. This is just to explain how the quality between different brands is, and that you really get what you pay for.
Prior to that, I had a K&n air filter & then charge pipes 1k miles later (minimal gain, less MPG after a while, though it did spool slightly louder)
