mods are
tune by me 278whp-312wtq.
m/t radials
b&g coilovers
ssr wheels.

stock intake with stock filter, stock exhaust, stock hardpipe and intercooler!!!! no aftermarket mods needed to run 12's other than a tune and tires. I do believe my mph is do to switching to the lighter ssr's at about 18lbs ea.

side note: there was a guy with an 07 sky redline (auto) running 14.4's all night. I did a "street tune" and scan at the track and he went from 14.4 to 13.7 he was smiling from ear to ear. anyone need a tune????

That is about dead on for the whp you have and the weight of the car with driver.

I put in 3100 lbs(figure 2900 for that car and 200lb driver, maybe a bit less with your wheels), and figure about 325 hp(278 wheel) and the trap speed in the hp calc shows almost 109mph exactly, like 108.5XX

Nice times.

congrats man, I'm depressed right now. I didn't get my 12's, I didn't even get a good gain in mph from the mods I did. I'm trying to figure out what the hell is going on with my car. Everyone keeps telling me it's not my tune, but area47 just flashed in a base meth tune, he didn't tweak it or anything since we didn't have a wideband. I got people telling me the slicks are just too big.

I dunno, but I'm depressed after seeing your mods and your times.

Way to go man! Nice to see a lightly modded SS/TC in the 12's! What size wheels and tires are you using?

They stopped making the SSR a year ago

How did you get the SSR's huge wheels on your car? You do realize the SSR had 20" inch tall rear wheels that are 10" wide right? Please review your posts before leaving it.

If you meant to say the HHR, the wheels on that thing are about 1.5 lb each heavier then the SS cobalt\TC . In terms of unsprung weight, you'd need to drop the weight at each corner by (10 lbs per wheel x 4) to really gain any performance increase and the increase would be so small it would'nt be noticable.
