bpv or bov
I wanna chime in, I currently have the Dejon BPV Spring and the sound is seriously good! I love it, but I only hear it when I go above 5 psi or higher rpms. If I do my daily driving which I shift around 3k rpms, I get surge.
Now I've heard from multiple sources that this low rpm surge is okay! Not a big deal, I keep hearing from other sources that this surge is a bid deal. So since I couldn't decide on what to believe I decided to just buy a forge motorsports spring.
On the positive side, the few Css.net users I PM'd about their spring has all had it on for quite some time. All are tuned and pushing 22psi or more. Those people seem to be having no problems. The people with problems were on stock tune, some not, but most were. So it got me thinking. One person added a downpipe and his problem went away. Not sure how true that is, but he is convinced the back pressure caused surge because the exhaust pressure had no where to go. Opening up the back caused the BPV spring to stay closed and the pressure just went out the back of the turbo instead of slowing it down.
This is all just hear say, just stuff I've read. I can't tell you anything other than, I know I'm getting surge at low rpms and the sound is incredible. I love it. If it wasn't for the surge, I'd love this spring!
P.S. the Forge Motorsports BPV is on back order, they told me they'll have them in around the 16th and can process orders then. I should receive mine on the 23rd of Feb

yeah, I enjoy the Forge BPV. I wish it came stock from factory. It does make a nice distinct sound when your driving normal. The time you'll hear your bpv go loud is staying in neutral and go pass 4K RPM to get that "psh...". I realize that today at AutoX when I was chilling in the grid warming up my car. I need a rear sway bar so bad after understeering a lot with my buddy's aggressive tune, I could feel the back of my car doing body rolls. We need a Group Buy with OTTP Rear Sway Bar.
