BPV Plunger

the black one thats under the bypass valve cover with the spring in it..mine is torn so i ordered another one from gmpartsdirect but apparently its on back order so i wont be getting it anytime soon, so my question is does anyone have an extra one i can buy from them so that my car doesnt sit in the garage undrivin for months on end? im desparate at this point so please help me out......PLEASE........

i already asked if the plunger is needed with that kit and never got an answer back. i asked several times, plus they dont even know when they will be shipped out so ill still be in the same boat with my car sitting.

the bpv doesnt have the rubber plunger. It is replaced with a metal valve and a spring to serve the same purpose

I know it sucks to wait, but they wait will be short and the piece you will receive will be 10x more durable. The only things you'll have to do is lightly grease it once a year or so. As bobbyhill31286 said its a whole new unit using a metal piston type device rather than a diaphragm.

when i asked what it does and how it will help my car all i got was "its a metal replacement for the plastic part" so to me that meant im just buying a new cap.

i was in on the 1st group buy and have been happy with it. no issues at all. i also didnt have any issues with my stock bpv either...then again i only had like 500 miles on my car when i put it on
