i had to get the car in Alexandria Virginia like an hour and half away from my home in maryland but was well worth it. as for options its fully loaded. the only thing i dont have is the high rise spoiler. The whole way home though i was smiling ear to ear. they still need to clean it though since i told them not to because it was pouring down raining

ahhh reminds me of the day I upgraded. That was a good day. Hey, quick question since yours is new and I've never sat in another SS/TC. Is your passenger seat tighter than the drivers seat? and by that I mean the side supports hold you tighter. On mine the side supports on the drivers seat are kinda spread out like a fat person owned it before me. The passenger seat is pretty tight and I love the way it feels. I kinda slide around my drivers seat.

Ok good I'm glad my car is not just retarded. I'm thinking about taking my seat apart and stiffening it up.

Personally I used to think the same, then I realised my seating position was horribly wrong. I was a mile off, too far from the pedals, too far from the wheel, too reclined, couldn't have been much worse. Now that I have it relatively fine tuned, the driver's is just as tight as the passenger's.

The passenger feels tighter because it sits high, most people crank their seat way down and stretch out which is not how these seats are intended to be sat in. My new seating setup felt awkward as **** for weeks (was slapping the clutch like a noob, felt too close to the wheel, etc) but now as I've settled in I realised the bolsters are right where I want them. At 5'10" I have seat height as high as possible, pulled 5 settings forward from where the rail cover is flush with the rail at the front (hard to describe), 1 back on rake from vertical (might go one more). After cruising hard on some twisty back roads I found I didn't move an inch in the seat and everything was falling readily to hand.

I just measured it, and the seat really is the same. I used a 5 foot long level that I have and laid it across the two seats to make sure I was measuring the same spot on both seats. My passenger seat is 16" wide from the inside seam on the leather trim from one side to the other, and my drivers side is 19.5" 3.5" is a lot when talking about seat width and angle of the side suports. My side supports are at about a 100* angle on my passenger and about a 130* angle on my drivers. If I could find a protractor I would measure it exactly.

Great, now you're going to make me go measure mine tonight when I get home . One thing that's odd, ever noticed the seat pan on the passenger is angled all the way to the seatback, and the driver's seat is not (after the last crease it flattens out), or is it just mine?

No I just noticed that mine does that too now that you mention it. Why the hell didn't they use the same seat design for both sides? WTF GM?
