bumped a curb with the front now car loses almost all power at times shuts off at times and black smoke? broken ic?

 

No boost is usually the sign of a busted intercooler, shutting off and black smoke don't sound good to me.

 

99% sure its the ic. i musta cracked it pretty good

 

I heard that a broken headgasket or a busted turbo can cause smoke as well.

 

A broken Turbo won't make black smoke it makes white smoke. A head-gasket also makes white smoke. I had a cracked inter-cooler and didn't even know about it. Put an MPX on yesterday and new charge pipes and wow what a difference. I didn't really realize how much power I lost and how crappy my car ran compared to know. My PSI also dropped to 20 which was before spiking at 24 and holding 23 I guess because it was trying to make up for lost power.

 

Yup sound like broken IC. The black smoke is from running suuuuper rich.

had a shitty day. stopped on the way to work at a gas station went to pull out thought it was in reverse it wasnt drifted foward and hit the curb cracking my ic and making my car crazyy..

cracked it the whole way around the end tank (plastic)

made a quick fix at work to get me back and forth to work. mechanics said as long as i stay outta boost ill be alright. gonna make it better tommrrow already ordered an MPX intercooler

Ya def stay outta boost. But if it was me I would def give it ONE and only ONE pull with that setup. Your spool will be much quicker
