Lightbulb burning oil

ok guys i gotta question for you gm techs out there, i have a 09 ss/tc it has 30k miles on it. i have been tuned by vince at trifecta for about 5k miles, low boost is 20psi and high boost is 25psi, i have a short ram,3inch dp and exhaust, and a big fmic. so my question is has anyone broken off that little nipple that is on the intake after the MAF that connects to the steelbraided line that goes to the crankcase/valve cover? i broke mine off and have noticed that it started smoking about 1k miles after it broke.. at first it smelled a bit like fuel because i run a little rich being tuned but its been 5k miles now and its definatly oil burning.. i asked vince and he said that it is a very good possibility that its just the motor burning it off because its not being reused like its designed to. i ordered a hahn cold air today so the problems sovled IF it is due to the line being disconnected. i no im not the only one thats broken that piece. and it only smokes wen i smash it down then it goes away in a min or two of ideling.. thank you for all the legit answers and hope this can help others that have incountered this issue.

LOL its the crank breather hose, it will smoke when ur oil gets hot cause it goes to the crank case, my talon smoked and sprayed oil pretty badwhen i stepped on it from the breather hose. fix it cause it will throw off ur trims. And maybe get urself a oil catch can and hook the breather hose up to it and back into ur intake so u dont get oil in ur intake, although these cars dont do that much.

Just got that fixed today. I saw no side affects though. Ran it broken for like 3 weeks, but I rigged it up so it was still semi attached.
