last week i had an issue with the car randomly falling over and having no power then okay again 30 seconds later. well today i was just accelerating with traffic and while at 2000 or so in 3rd with at most 2lbs of boost the car nosed over like i had pushed in the clutch. its like the car completely lost boost. other than a lack of power it drove fine on the highway. fuel pressure, air temp, coolant temp, timing and a/f all looked to be within spec. I thought it was the bpv getting stuck open but i could clearly hear it open and close when i would get in and out of the gas... also the car sounded like it was spooling pretty hard for the power it was making...

this has only happened when it was below 40* outside as i drove the car 200 miles this weekend without incident and even saw 15lbs a few times without issue...

could this be a failed intercooler end tank? maybe a MAP sensor thats dirty?

 

I had similar problems after it rains, due to condensation build up in the charge pipes... it rained yesterday... I fully expect my car to run like **** when I go to work this afternoon.
