Calling on Knowledgeable Tranny/clutch people...

about two weeks ago, my car started having difficulty on the 1 to 2 shift... basically i have to pull the shifter as far into 2nd as possible and hold it there until it grabs... it also will not shift to 2nd at all above 5 grand.. i put the car into the gear but it doesnt grab. so far all the other gears seem normal... i also get an occasional grind downshifting 5-4...i am tuned and all that fun stuff so dont tell me thats why, i want to know WHAT the problem is... a clutch is in the near future.. within a month..
at first i thought it could be the clutch rod but it doesnt seem to be bent from an inside inspection. ive also adjusted the cables for about 20 hours,,, so its either a bent fork, bad synchro, or clutch.. but has anyone had similiar issues or interested in throwing ideas at me.. thanks
sorry for the extended post...

Get it checked out now. I'm guessing bad synchro as well. Usually if it's something like a linkage, it does it in more than one gear.

lmao I know, Breaking Transmissions and still running at the track isn't too good. You should open up a driving school just for Oscar or send him to one.
