well tomorrow she goes to the shop finally. compression check, oil pressure check, and have the tick fixed in the head. guess i will soon know what it is. and if my warrenty gets voided, i guess ill be payin out my ass. lol but would probably just get a new zzp head then.

Good luck. I'm not sure if there is a thread about it but could you describe the tick?

 

I made one, don't know how lOng ago. But it's a fast tick on passenger side of the head, sometimes pretty loud, sometimes not there at all. It's weird. Rev the motor and the tick speeds up.

 

compression is good at 150,155,155,155. tick is gone. it comes and goes. fricken weird. and oil sending unit for gauge needs replacing.

 

It could be the direct injection and hpfp.

 

its not, had the car long enough to know the difference.

 

Oh my bad, mine ticks a little when I rev it too. Im sure on mine its the hpfp.

 

no this is on the drivers side in one spot. i got a automotive stethascope.
