Car feels slow any ideas?

My car is stock except k&n drop in. when I first got thee drop in it felt great then after a bit now it feels slower than before.

could I have a boost leak? Could this learn down thing be effecting performance?

I will take it in next week. Just thought I'd ask so I can tell them what tolook at.

unhook the battery for about fifteen minutes. if it feels stronger after hooking it back up again, your fuel trims are whacked.

OP said its just a K&N drop in air filter not SRI, how much performance can it really add? I didnt notice anything when I dropped mine in. I say placebo affect.
When was the last oil change?

If it's hot and humid by you that will make it feel slower too

Go rent a base model sedan for a week then drive your ss/tc again. Bet it won't feel slow anymore.

This could be, it rained and it's 90 degrees out here. So maybe this is the cause.

Drive it into a wall. Make sure to be doing AT LEAST 65mph and just jerk the wheel to the left (or right if you prefer).

Even tuned cars feel slow after a while of driving them, you get used to the power and it no longer puts as big of a smile on your face.

That's why the quest for more power is insatiable

sO I HAVE 500 MILES ON THE NEW GMPP CLUTCH, and I go to get on it last night and the car feels slow as hell. It doesn't spin the tires in 1st 2nd or 3rd like it used to even with bigger 245 tires it used to have.
I am livid right now considering I have been driving for about a year without really getting on my car due to the bad clutch, and now I have a new one, my car isn't performing well at all. 40-100 seems like forever too...
Guess maybe I need to do a compression test soon, and maybe do a new timing chain tensioner since im at 58k miles.
Any thoughts???
