Car Making Zero Boost

Hey guys, last night I put injen chargepiping on the car and I made sure my tbolts were tight when I did it. But then when i went to drive it, it was fine for a short moment then no boost at all and cel light came on. The code is p0101 for the mass air flow sensor. I cleaned it with maf cleaner but still same thing with the code and no boost. Would I spend the 60 bucks for a new sensor or would this actually be a problem caused from boost leak in the new piping? Any help is really appreciated.

Did you clear the code after cleaning it? It could also be a boost leak. check the lower charge piping, there's a bolt near the intercooler that's known for rubbing a hole through it. When I had this happen to me a new MAF fixed it, but I was getting a lot more issues that just no boost, weird drivability issues. Also recheck and retighten that tbolt clamp.

I would suggest manually clearing the code by unplugging the battery for 10 min.

clear the code like tommy said and if it comes back on 2nd or 3rd start up it could be a boost leak, bad maf sensor, wiring to the sensor , ecu.

I had the same code a while ago no boost symptoms though no bad Maf sensor but had faulty corroded wiring throwing the code. also had a wire pulled loose last year. (sometimes its not always the MAF sensor don't waste $60 if your not sure....)

recheck ur work, look for boost leak, loose connections, connections that may have come loose allowing a boost leak.

I'll try disconnecting the battery and see what happens. I really didnt think the sensor was bad, especially seeing as how the code didnt come on until after I just got done putting the new piping on.

I disconnected the battery and after ten minutes plugged it back in. Cleared the code, but now the car starts but immediately dies unless I keep my foot on the gas revving it to 3 or 4k, otherwise it just dies. Now what? Any ideas?

Try unplugging the MAF and see if it runs better

Disconnected the maf now, started right up and idled like normal and drivable with it disconnected, still no boost at all. Then reconnected the maf, starts and drives, but the idle seems a slight bit lower and more of a rough idle compared to how it normally feels, and still no boost.

That's the vac/boost leak taking a toll on the idle. Must be a big leak. Boost leak test it. Most likely, it's a cracked IC coldside endtank.

Yeah it does, I can really hear the sound of the turbo alot more now when I take it out to see if I fixed it. Need to get this fixed since this is my dd and dont have another car. I guess I need to go to home depot and try and make a boost tester. The hoses and couplings/clamps all seem together and tight up top. Been putting off having to jack the car up to get underneath the car because Ive been getting frustrated with it, so I went ahead and put my forge bpv on, which I didnt really need to do at the moment.

Fail....Well I feel like an idiot, first thing I should have checked was the ic piping at the bottom right by the intercooler. It came off, apparently I didnt have it tightened as much as I should have. I was just too lazy to want to jack the car up and get underneath it again. Well I took it out and drove it, its fine and it seems to be holding and feels like it has a bit more power now thanks to the chargepipes and bpv. Cel light is on again, but i'll just disconnect the battery again when I get time later tonight or tomorrow. Thanks for all your help guys. I appreciate it.

if it had a boost leak it would still make boost, in order to not see any boost a cp would have had to blow off.
