Charge Piping Question

So I have a 2010 HHR SS. I have the GM Stage kit installed. I had my upper charge pipe burst the other night running @ about 8-10 PSI. The dealer is replacing it but I am weary about it happening again. My question is if I should change it should I only change the hot side or should I do hot and cold? EDIT: By change I mean get an aftermarket pipe that is made of metal and not plastic.

Burst piping:

The hot side or upper charge pipe is the critical one. I never hear of anyone having trouble with the cold side pipe. Just do the hot side and call it a day.

Yeah just stick with the hot side. The cold side on my lnf was a total bitch to do. Only do the cold side if you're upgrading your intercooler as well.

^^^ This. You can change the cold side too if you'd like, but only the hot side is really necessary. Especially if you are just on a GMS1 tune.

Why did they flatten out the charge pipe on the HHR SS too? It looks like there would be enough room under the hood for it to not be.
